Analog Processors

Analog Processors are multi-channel processors, either multiplexed or non-multiplexed, that provide an interface between preamps and an A/D converter for input to a digital computer. Presently available products available include a four channel non-multiplexed version, a four channel multiplexed version, and an eight channel non-multiplexed version.

AP-01 Analog Processor

The AP-01 Analog Processor is a four-channel, non-multiplexed data acquisition interface to a National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter. Four unity-gain differential line receivers are provided to eliminate common-mode problems arising from ground currents in the coaxial cables and differences in potential between the test cell and the Data Acquisition System chassis grounds. The unit provides a 68-pin D output connector for the SH68-68-EP Cable for interface to the National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter. The AP-01 is powered by the PXI-6115. The unit provides four BNC input connectors for HiBand Preamp outputs. Individual single-turn pots are used to adjust for common-mode balance of each channel. A 19-inch rack mount is optional.

AP-02 Analog Processor

The AP-02 Analog Processor is a four-channel multiplexed data acquisition interface for National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter. Each of the four channels has an 8:1 differential multiplexer. Each multiplexer is followed by a differential line receiver to eliminate common-mode problems arising from ground currents in the coaxial cables and differences in potential between the test cell and the Data Acquisition System chassis grounds. The unit provides 32 BNC connectors for inputs from Hi-Band Preamp outputs. The unit provides a 68-pin D output connector for the SH68-68-EP Cable for interface to the National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter. The AP-02 is powered by the PXI-6115. Individual single-turn pot adjustments are used for common-mode balance of each input. A 19-inch rack mount is optional.

AP-03 Analog Processor

The AP-03 Analog Processor is an eight-channel, non-multiplexed data acquisition interface to two National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter Boards. Eight unity-gain differential line receivers are provided to eliminate common-mode problems arising from ground currents in the coaxial cables and differences in potential between the test cell and the Data Acquisition System chassis grounds. The unit provides two 68-pin D output connectors for the SH68-68-EP Cables for interface to the twp National Instruments PXI-6115 A/D Converter Boards. The AP-03 is powered by the PXI-6115. The AP-03 provides eight BNC input connectors for HiBand Preamp outputs. Individual single-turn pots are used to adjust for common-mode balance of each channel. A 19-inch rack mount is optional.
